Requisition ID: 72810 Overview Skyworks Cedar Rapids design center is seeking a Senior Layout Designer responsible for the layout of Analog integrated circuits, utilizing commercial/standard bulk SOI and CMOS technologies in accordance with design rules. Learn more about the fantastic Cedar Rapids lifestyle when you talk with our team! #LI-SG1 Job Responsibilities Work closely with design engineers in the layout and verification of filters for wireless consumer electronic products using the Cadence Design environment and Calibre verification tools Position requires remote interfacing with domestic and international design engineering and layout teams across multiple design centers in different time zones Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent a plus Minimum 6+ years of experience in the layout of integrated circuits including the ability to place and route active and passive devices. Ability to plan the placement of major circuit components in an overall physical design. Good understanding of semiconductor processes and structures, like CMOS FETs, capacitors, resistors etc. Provide good experience and competency using Cadence Virtuoso and SkillCAD tools Proven ability to interpret DRC, ERC, LVS, ANTENNA using the Calibre verification tool and to read electrical schematics and netlists. Top level integration experience is also preferred. Previous experience in the preparation of layout data for release to foundry a plus The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
