Shipping and Receiving Clerk PCB Technologies USA Inc is currently seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Ocean, New Jersey (07712). Job Summary: Performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks. Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments. Pulls and packages items for shipment ensuring accurate shipment. Keeps areas clean and orderly. Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management. Prepares both domestic and international shipments determining most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery. Prepares bill of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to verify that quantities, destination, and routing are correct. Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; process return shipments from customers. Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpacks, and logs inventory to be shipped or received. Inspects shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies lead/manager. Operates computer, box wrapper. Follows departmental policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety and environmental standards. Education and Experience: High School Diploma is required. Minimum work experience of 1 to 3 years in shipping, receiving and inventory preferred. Due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements, applicants must be a U.S.Citizen. Skills and Abilities: Able to read and write and speak in English. Follow written and verbal instruction. Ability to make sound decisions based on company and departmental policies and procedures. Operating a computer. Must be able to perform all functions of shipping from packing, boxing and shipping. Ability to lift 50 lbs. SAP a plus.
