Water & Sewer Quality Assurance Administrator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s degree. Four years of experience in quality assurance, quality control or quality management, to include experience in developing and implementing quality management programs is required. Additional experience in quality assurance, quality control or quality management, to include experience in developing and implementing quality management programs may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. RECRUITMENT NOTES: This is a professional quality management position in the Retail Customer Service Division. Employees in this class are responsible for performing quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement functions in their assigned areas: Field Services Section, Account Management Services Section, and Customer Care Section. The position is responsible for helping develop, implement, and maintain performance and quality management programs that identify, test, and track key performance indicators and quality standards. Responsibilities include following quality management plans to test the system’s integrity, reliability, and compliance with quality standards. Assisting in creating performance and operational standards, formulating instructions for conducting reviews and maintaining audit documentation, preparing quality trend analysis, and performing quality system reviews and quality audits. Assisting in implementing corrective action plans to improve quality deficiencies. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in applying the principles of performance and quality management to the investigation of quality-related activities in departmental projects and operating systems.
