Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a 3–6-month contract to hire role based in Irving, TX. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights into business performance. Lead or participate in audits, budgeting processes, and financial planning. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Supervise junior accounting staff and contribute to the development of accounting policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Familiarity with Concur. Experience with Sage Intacct for General Ledger. Knowledge of GAP Accounting. Experience working with both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams. Holistic understanding of corporate accounting needs. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Work Environment: Initially, the role will be on-site full time. Once integrated into the team, there is an opportunity for a hybrid schedule (2-3 days on-site per week). Interview Process (2 Steps!): Phone screen with Talent Acquisition.
