About this job
Kavaliro is seeking a QA Analyst for a Jacksonville payment technology company. You'll be tasked with executing meticulous testing procedures to uphold stringent quality standards for software.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Engage in the thorough observation, testing, diagnosis, and reporting of faults within both software and hardware.
Address and troubleshoot issues raised by customers promptly and effectively.
Document and rectify quality complaints and concerns systematically.
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for various projects and product launches.
Acquire proficiency in diverse QA testing methodologies and standards.
Collaborate closely with the Development Engineering and QA teams.
Methodically identify, isolate, and monitor bugs throughout the testing process.
Proactively anticipate and address potential user-facing issues.
Undertake responsibilities for mobile application testing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are indispensable for effective collaboration and clear articulation of ideas.
Ability to work seamlessly within a team, fostering productive relationships in both physical and remote work environments.
Aptitude for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
Exceptional time management abilities, crucial for juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines consistently.
Keen attention to detail coupled with a patient demeanor.
A proactive problem-solving approach and a sense of ownership towards assigned tasks.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
1+ years of hands-on testing experience is preferred.
Prior experience in coding is advantageous, with 1+ years of relevant experience being a significant plus.
