Project Manager (Peoplesoft Financial)- Detroit, MI

DTS is looking for Project Manager (Financial) for our direct client position in Detroit, MI. The Project Manager is responsible for business process development, project management and implementation of new business applications. As a significant member of the Business Solutions team, the Project Manager -Finance will manage and communicate the design, building, and testing, and migration to production for PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 modification of existing functionality, and development of new functionality. The Project Manager - Finance will be responsible for the implementation of software solutions based on business requirements, enterprise standards, and defined design principles. Qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree with a focus in an information technology field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Sciences, Information Systems) and/or technical or equivalent experience in a related field required. Experience: More than three (3) years of functional experience with ERP systems. More than one (1) years of functional experience implementing/upgrading PeopleSoft General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, eSettlements, and Grants Management. Experience working with end users to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation Ability to think conceptually using strong analytical skills, ability to successfully distill complex technical information into clear business language, and to identify and implement solutions to address complex business problems Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects against established milestones and deliverables Comfort working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment Expertise and experience working with PeopleSoft ERP modules is a must.
