Entry Level Buyer

This role is responsible for executing and fulfilling the material requirements plan, updating ERP system with the latest supplier / product data and daily communication with suppliers. This person will work closely with each department to support the business. Responsibilities Generate and consolidate material requirements and drawings from ERP system Communicate and follow up with suppliers relating to pricing, lead times, order acknowledgements, shipping dates, status updates, shipping documentation, and material certificates Promptly update ERP system with lead times Create and Issue Purchase Orders to approved suppliers Promptly execute and Respond to Part Availability inquiries Update In Transit Tracker Information Provide weekly status report to supervisor Create Receivers for all incoming parts Order MRO Supplies to support the business Qualifications BS degree, preferred 1-3 years experience in an ISO 9001 environment Experience with ERP systems Strong understanding of bills of material (BOM) and drawings, preferred *All applicants must be able to work in the US without current or future sponsorship
