Goal(s) of this Position
Meet departmental goals relative to production regarding schedules, quality and training.Work within the parameters of the QM System to help Variosystems achieve general and company-specific quality efforts and growth goals.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Confirm work orders in SAP
Record test data in Aegis
Conduct analog and digital electronic circuit production testing, data collection and data analysis as directed
Repair/troubleshoot to component level for test failures with minimal supervision
Conduct Test/Repair RMA units as directed with minimal supervision
Work with Test Engineering and/or customers on an as needed basis to develop and implement new test procedures and to implement changes to a currently used test procedure
Assist Engineering group in designing, assembling, reworking and testing new circuits and prototypes
Perform electronic component searches for new and/or existing designs as directed
Cleaning and organizing area as needed
Other duties as assigned
Maintain material traceability as required.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to work well as a team member in a new production facility
Ability to read, interpret and understand schematic diagrams of analog and/or digital circuits, microcontroller boards, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, Work Instructions, & test procedures.
Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
Familiarity with IPC-610 accept/reject criteria regarding printed circuit board assemblies
Ability to interpret component manufacturer’s data sheets in regards to package design, part and lot numbers, correct orientation, or other technical data as required
Ability to read and interpret industry standards and agency certification specifications (e.g. FCC) with minimal supervision
Associates degree (EET) 5+ years of electronics circuit testing and troubleshooting experience
