Summary
The scheduling coordinator is primarily responsible for managing telecommunications network service request and incidents from beginning to end. This includes regular communications (phone/email) with customers that notify the Network Operations Center (NOC) of telecommunication issues for any device connected to the telecommunication systems.
What You’ll Do
Answer calls that come into the Network Operations Center (NOC).
Create and close service request and incident tickets in the work asset management system - WAM/Maximo
Create incident tickets in ServiceNow
Coordinate with NOC dispatchers
Monitor Microsoft Outlook email for incidents
Monitor chat in Microsoft Teams
Manage and report after hour service requests and incidents
Assign reactive maintenance work to SRP Telecom technicians
Add comments to Network Management Systems
Send informational e-mail alerts to the Telecommunications organization
Troubleshoot using Station Entry Log
