ITCS, through innovative information technology initiatives and service, provides opportunities for the ECU community to excel in teaching, research, and service using state-of-the-market technology and collaborative environments. The Learning Technologies Implementation and Support Training team promotes the effective use of learning technologies to support teaching and learning for the university. The team supports the campus by providing support, consultation, and training for learning technologies. Team members consult with faculty to incorporate technologies and effective course design and collaborate with Distributed IT personnel in the colleges. In addition, team members create and share user education and develop instructional and training content. Job Duties Design, Develop, and Package Content for Cornerstone This position is responsible for the design, development, and packaging of ECU Online Training content in Cornerstone. This position will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across campus to design, develop and update training materials into a SCORM-compliant format. The person in this position will manage ticket requests and the workflow ensuring that training content is accessible and delivered efficiently and in a timely manner. This position will work closely with ECU's IT Accessibility Consultant to address any specific needs concerning accessibility requirements. This position will promote the usage of Cornerstone for training needs, ensuring that employees or participants can access training content seamlessly. Design and Development of Graphics and Charts This position will design and develop graphics to enhance training content, user education, unit reports and web-related materials. In collaboration with faculty, this position will develop course graphics and infographics. Monitor IT accessibility standards and work with IT Accessibility Consultant Monitor IT accessibility standards and work with the IT Accessibility Consultant to ensure that all training materials adhere to the necessary requirements. This position may be eligible for Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) under the ECU FWA Policy. The standard work schedule for this position will need to be adjusted to meet the position requirements, which include and are not limited to evening and weekend hours to perform scheduled and unscheduled workload requirements to maintain University operations. Minimum Education/Experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
