Quality/QMS Manager
Staffing Technologies has partnered with a leading manufacturer within the Aerospace industry with a focus on designing cutting edge medical transportation solutions, interior products, and protective armor systems for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. This established and growing business is seeking a Quality / QMS Manager to partner with their design, development, and manufacturing teams to maintain a high standard of quality in their manufacturing process and finished products. In this role you will deliver significant value to the business by managing a team and process that is critical to the overall success of the business!
Position Overview: Manages the development and implementation of program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and Six-Sigma tools and analysis.
Essential Functions:
Maintain and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) based on relevant standards (AS9100, ISO 13485, FAA, and FDA, as applicable).
Provide leadership, training, guidance, discipline, and timely reviews to department personnel.
Manage Quality Department KPIs and report to upper management.
Manage the Internal Audit program and collaborate with employees to enhance processes, reporting issues during management meetings.
Oversee Quality interfaces with various departments and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
Manage supplier quality actions, including onsite auditing, troubleshooting, and Supplier initiatives.
Develop and monitor metrics related to quality performance and business operations.
Support continuous improvement processes and initiatives.
Maintain databases and generate real-time and accurate reports measuring goal accomplishments.
Develop and maintain performance metrics and maximize efficiency.
This position may require up to 10% travel.

Experience with AS9100, ISO 13485, FAA, and FDA Quality Systems, as applicable.
Proven experience with FAA PMA and/or Part 21, 121, 145 Repair Station.
Proficiency in using various measuring tools and driving continuous improvement processes.
Authorization to manage personnel and processes related to administrative controls, business needs, and company goals.
Education, Certifications, and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
At least six (6) years of experience in leading quality assurance functions and leadership roles.
