Department: Human Resources Division: Stress Management Team Schedule: M – F | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Hybrid – at least one day in the office, more if needed) Criminal Background Check Required Compensation: $17.05/hour + Full benefit package including healthcare, PTO, and 401K plan Job Description: Research program specific data relative to law enforcement and mental health (e.g., suicide, substance and alcohol use disorders, relationships, communication, etc.) Research best practices on disparities around the U. S./world and how various agencies in other states and countries are handling the impact of the stigma in delivering mental health services to law enforcement/first responders Compile and maintain a catalog of resources of mental health professionals organized by areas of specialization and skill sets Proficient in discreetly managing incoming calls while upholding strict confidentiality protocols and directing callers to relevant services Conduct thorough research to identify best practices and proficiently translate findings into compelling PowerPoint presentations Engage actively in weekly staff meetings, contributing insights and collaborating effectively with team members Ensure adequate inventory levels of office supplies and equipment Coordinate office visits to ensure strict adherence to client confidentiality protocols and privacy measures Perform additional tasks as required or assigned, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to meet organizational needs Facilitate connections between clients and external service providers, considering factors such as the nature of the issue, geographical location, insurance coverage, and provider availability (e.g., accepting new clients, virtual, in-person, etc.) Requirements: 2+ years of previous experience in an office environment Extensive secretarial experience is required, including executive level secretarial experience and experience with assignment-specific computer and/or spreadsheet software/programs/systems Proficient in typing and Microsoft Office applications with good editing skills A resourceful and independent worker capable of self-managing their time and tasks Possess a friendly and courteous demeanor and is able to work with witnesses and customers Ability to efficiently operate office equipment, including desktop computers, fax machine, copier and printers
