On-Call Building Engineer-26 Philadelphia, PA, USA Req #158 Wednesday, February 14, 2024 U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking On-Call Building Engineers with a Class A Philadelphia License. Responsibilities will include maintenance, repair and monitoring of building automation systems, HVAC and associated systems, and environmental controls. Must be able to manage money and material. This position will require, although rare, potential holiday work. This is a position is considered on-call and with no guaranteed hours. May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices. Requirements Requirements Minimum of five years field experience in mechanical system operations, repair and maintenance with boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment and controls, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection. City of Philadelphia Class A Stationary Engineer License Universal refrigeration certification Working Knowledge of Low-Pressure Boilers maintenance operation and troubleshooting techniques Working Knowledge of Air Handler maintenance operations and troubleshooting techniques Working Knowledge of Fire Pump Maintenance operations and troubleshooting techniques Working Knowledge of Chiller Maintenance operations and troubleshooting techniques Plumbing Experience (Minor) Working Knowledge of building automation systems (preferably Metasys) Electrical Experience (Minor) Ability to work well under pressure Ability to work alone Excellent communication skills Excellent documentation skills Customer Service Oriented Employee Must provide own basic hand tools and test equipment Must be able to read and speak English Pre-employment drug screening.
