Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and commissioning technical advice. For the company's subsea hardware equipment. Duties: Focus: Engages in the technical, functional, and manufacturable aspects of design, with an emphasis on using design and analysis software to create, improve, verify, and maintain designs. Skills and Tools: Requires extensive knowledge and experience with MS Office or similar software and CAD for generating solid models, drawings, and schematics. Strong analytical skills are essential. Experience: A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of engineering experience are required. Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic design of subsea products is necessary. Responsibilities: Includes creating designs to meet project requirements, defining problems and creating solutions, assisting with building prototypes and validation through testing, and producing and maintaining installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.
