LPN/RN Full-Time Night Shift (SIGN ON BONUS)

Quality Correctional Care is looking for a Licensed Nurse to join our team and join the fight to bring awareness to the need for Mental Health and quality healthcare for correction-involved individuals. This person is will work alongside our Medical Directors, provide treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions and deliver exceptional care to our patients in the center. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

LPN/RN Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

• Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic
• Performing 14-day physicals on all patients
• Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency
• Working with the dentist to ensure that our patients oral care is addressed
• Responding to medical emergencies
• Working hand in hand with physicians, PA's, NP's and correctional staff who all have the same goal of optimal patient care
• Using great judgement to make sure patients are staying within great health.

Location: Jefferson County Correctional Center

Shift Openings: Full-Time 6PM-6AM Rotating Weekends! 3 days on, 4 days off

 Requirements: 

• Valid LPN or RN licensure
• A minimum of six months of recent medical experience
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time  
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
