Job Description: The medical assistant is responsible for assisting the physician with medical exams and treatments.
This is a direct hire position. Pay is based on experience.
Job Duties:
- Taking patients' vitals
- Collect, prepare and analyze specimens, including performing phlebotomy
- With proper provider authorization, provide instructions and test results
- Sterilize instruments
- Cleans and calibrates equipment
- Cleans and stocks exam rooms
- Provides proper documentation in electronic patient chart.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Previous experience in a medical office
