Responsibilities

  • Keeps people in assigned positions according to the positioning chart.
  • Becomes an expert at running the passe by calling tickets appropriately and controlling the pace of the kitchen to have the most efficient ticket times possible.
  • Maintains prep levels that are needed and avoids outs at all costs.
  • Delegates prep duties as needed.
  • Ensure all food is plated properly.
  • Delegate’s cleaning duties as needed.
  • Ensures breaks are given at the proper time.
  • Helps to work with Shift Lead/General Manager to maintain morale.
  • Helps to maintain safety protocols.
  • Ensures all checklists and prep lists are completed.
