Radiation Physicist FT Days - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary
Quality assurance of the radiation producing apparatus in the Department. Quality assurance of the treatment records of the patients in the Department. Verification and/or validation of the treatment plans. Quality assurance of the brachytherapy program. Participation in the educational programs within the Department. Participation in the research programs within the Department

Job Responsibilities
Quality assurance of the radiation producing apparatus in the Department. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Required: Masters Degree in medical physics, physics, or a closely allied field.
Required: The physicist will have completed a program which included clinical responsibilities in radiation oncology physics.

Certifications
Required: If the physicist is not certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent, the physicist will begin the certification process as soon as possible
