Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the Latin American market.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts across various countries in Latin America.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients' satisfaction.

Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns tailored for the Latin American region.

Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.

Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads and stay abreast of market trends.

Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimal inventory levels.

Train, mentor, and provide feedback to sales team members.

Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and reports, analyzing trends and results.

Ensure adherence to laws and policies regarding business operations in Latin America.

Manage the sales budget and track expenses against the budget.

Oversee the use of sales technology and platforms to ensure optimal performance and data-driven decision-making.

Fluent in Spanish/Portuguese; proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Travel is required.

Required to work on-site at our Chicago office during standard business hours when not traveling; no option for remote work.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience, with a proven track record in the Latin American market

Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field

Strong understanding of cultural nuances and business practices within Latin American countries

Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve targets

Ability to lead and motivate a sales team across various countries within the region

Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance metrics

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Willingness to travel extensively across the region

Knowledge of import/export regulations and international trade within Latin America
