Leidos Dynetics, is seeking talented CNC Machinist Programmer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
The CNC Machinist Programmer must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus. 5-axis and/or mill-turn experience is a plus. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent and have 3 or more years relevant experience.
Candidates must have at least 5 or more years of precision machining experience on CNC Mills & CNC Lathes.
Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted.
Candidate must be able to work overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:
5 axis machining experience with Siemens 840D controls
(2) two years of 2D & 3D experience with a CAM software tool
SURFCAM, Edgecam or Catia experience
Experience machining in a prototype environment

Pay Range:Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
