We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Minden, Nevada. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves coordinating multiple tasks and maintaining precise records. The position requires strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, as well as exceptional customer service and data entry abilities.
Responsibilities:
• Communicating with various teams to ensure project alignment with overall goals.
• Coordinating and scheduling multiple subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Updating and maintaining budgets and multiple schedules for accurate financial tracking.
• Processing reimbursement requests and preparing change orders as required.
• Assisting field superintendents as needed for efficient project execution.
• Coordinating project permits to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Documenting owner selections, specifications, and decisions according to the project schedule.
• Maintaining physical and electronic project files with all current construction documents & specifications.
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain high standards.
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
• Managing timelines to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
• Organizing files and handling shipping functions when required.• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
• Proven customer service skills and experience
• Experience with data entry tasks
• Ability to manage timelines effectively
• Proficiency in organizing files, both physical and digital
• Experience with scanning documents and other materials
• Familiarity with shipping functions and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced real estate and property industry
• Prior experience in a project assistant role or similar is desirable
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
