Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio. The individual in this role will play a key role in our finance team, focusing on high volume accounts payable tasks, vendor payment reconciliations, and ensuring smooth operation of full cycle accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage high volume accounts payable tasks using SAP and JDE (AS 400) software

• Conduct vendor payment reconciliations regularly

• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipt reports

• Handle full cycle accounts payable functions, including wire transfers, ACH, and paper check processing

• Ensure accurate data entry and resolve any discrepancies

• Microsoft Excel skill is necessary

• Process and verify payments in a timely and accurate manner

• Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations
