1st Shift Material Handler Needed

Material Handler

6am-2:30pm (OT as needed. This could be coming in at 5am and staying until 3:30pm)

Pay: $18-$18.50 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Counts, prepares, issues, delivers, retrieves, assembles and packages parts and materials for processing to other departments.

• Uses carts and pallet movers in the locating of parts and materials.

• Hand loads parts onto shelves as needed.

• Uses drawings, diagrams, part replacement manuals and item master descriptions to correctly identify parts and materials.

• Generates necessary documents.

• Maintains a clean and efficient work area which is free of bins and pallets used in the material handling process.

• Move materials using hand carts or electric vehicles

• Drives and operates forklifts and pallet movers in the locating of parts and materials (may or may not

be required for specific roles).

• Hand loads parts onto shelves as needed.

• Uses drawings, diagrams, part replacement manuals, and item master descriptions to correctly

identify parts and materials.

• Maintains a clean and efficient work area which is free of bins and pallets used in the material

handling process.

• Coordinates with department supervision as to material handling priorities

• All candidates will be cross trained and may work in the yard, stockroom or receiving
