Job Description
We are offering a short term contract/contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry. The job location is in Palm Bay, Florida and the workplace will be in a machinery manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Accurately process invoices as per company guidelines
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accurate financial records
• Post journal entries to keep the company's financial records updated
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) to maintain financial accuracy
• Code invoices correctly for proper classification and record keeping
• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial databases
• Process invoices consistently and accurately
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial record keeping
• Use QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions
• Apply LEED Accounts Payable skills for enhanced efficiency in the accounts payable department
• Applicant must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reports• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential, including invoice verification, processing, and payment
• Coding Invoices is a key requirement, requiring attention to detail and understanding of the company's coding system
• Data Entry skills are crucial, with a focus on accuracy and speed
• Experience in Invoice Processing is required, including checking, verifying, and processing invoices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, particularly for managing data and creating financial reports
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is necessary for managing accounts and financial transactions
• Knowledge of LEED Accounts Payable is desirable, particularly for managing and tracking energy-related expenses in manufacturing processes
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required for this role
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process is beneficial.
