Job Summary

Pay grade and salary will be dependent upon applicable skills and experience.

Responsible for supporting high volume of real estate transactions including land sales and acquisitions, surface and mineral leases and surface use agreements across Vistra' s land holdings, in accordance with corporate guidelines. The successful candidate will be required to analyze property title reports, surveys, and other real estate related documents, providing insight into issues, proposing, and executing curative action items. They will be responsible to protect Vistra' s real estate asset values and maximize real estate revenues. This position supports the Senior Vice President, Senior Director of Real Estate and Director of Real Estate.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Supports negotiations for land sales, fee acquisitions, easements, relocations of facilities, utilities, O&G leases, and other mineral related activities.
• Reviews real estate holdings determining divestiture opportunities, determines timing of listing, priority of listings and supports listing brokers.
• Supports the researching of title, land sales, surveys,easements through contractor management, including title companies, surveyors, landman, etc.
• Verifies the accuracy of title, surveys, and other real estate documents.
• Creates property boundary maps, parcel ID lists, KMZ files, and other informational deliverables.
• Supports the Vistra Development team's renewable program and Vistra traditional business.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting of Real Estate related deliverables for Vistra properties.
• Works with landowners and tenants on Vistra' s behalf.

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency

• 3+ years of real estate experience gained through job experience, college degree programs and/or certifications, preferred.
• Landman, Real Estate Salesperson or Title Examiner experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of real estate and related contracts
• Ability to maintain large amounts of data and produce reports to inform leadership and other business functions.
• Good written and oral communication; ability to persuade others.
• Good Microsoft office capabilities (TEAMs, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Strong organizational, analytical skills
• Candidate must be able and willing to adapt to quickly changing priorities and achieve project deadlines.

Key Metrics

• Organize directory of all owned properties
• Meet or exceed all annual business objectives (i.e., land sales, surface waiver acquisition, etc.)
• Meet or beat required timing of acquisitions and other negotiation timelines (i.e., road closure & vacations, facilities relocations, etc.).
• Meet or exceed annual revenue goals for sales, Oil & Gas revenue and expenditure limits for Capital and Operations & Maintenance expenditures.
