Staff Accountant ( Fixed Assets )

Vaco Business Services client is seeking a dynamic Staff Accountant who has experience with Fixed Assists. This person will be preparingfinancial reports to maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability

Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• General Ledger maintenance - including preparation ofjournal entries
• Fixed assets management; record asset acquisitions and dispositions; manage depreciation schedule; monthly reconciliation and roll forward preparation for capital account.
• Preparation of property and occupational use-tax returns and filings
• Assists in the month end close process
• Analyzes operating outcomes on a corporate and unit office level.
• Assists in account reconciliations
• Provides cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.
• Monthly closing journal entries and other close related duties
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules and reports
• Maintain leased vehicles in Oracle fixed asset system

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2+ years in a public or corporate accounting or finance role
• Experience with fixed assets is a must
• Experience with NetSuiteis a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must have excllent mathmatical skills
• Intermediate or higher MS Excel skills
