Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a Variety of Tools: Operate an array of essential tools crucial to the assembly process, from hand drills to tape measures, ensuring precise and efficient assembly.
  • Prepare and Assemble: Clean and prepare metal surfaces, assemble components, and fasten parts together using bolts, screws, or rivets to create sub-assemblies, such as brake hoses, light boxes, and more.
  • Accurate Measurement and Layout: Perform measurement layouts as per blueprints, ensuring adherence to precise specifications.
  • Safety and Quality Focus: Execute tasks in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner, contributing to our commitment to producing high-quality products. Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Entry-Level Experience: 1-3 months of related experience or training in assembly or a similar field.
  • Adaptability and Accountability: Ability to work at a fast pace, willingness to experiment, express opinions on work methods, and take responsibility for any errors.
  • Technical Competence: Capability to read and understand blueprints and company documents. Basic math skills, especially with fractions, and familiarity with computerized automated equipment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Physical Dexterity: Ability to stand, walk, reach, grasp, lift, bend, and perform various physical tasks as outlined in the job requirements.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong mental attributes including reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, and comprehension skills.

Tools and Equipment Used:

  • From hand drills to safety gear, you'll have access to a variety of tools and equipment necessary for the role.
