Special Occasions is the premiere provider for event rental equipment in the Willamette Valley and beyond. Position Summary: Our Delivery Crew Team Members are crucial to the success of our delivery team to bring customer's events to life. As a Delivery Crew Team Member your main responsibilities will include loading, unloading, setting up and taking down our rental equipment at various locations. No driving is necessary for this position. Our team will provide comprehensive training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Comply with all company policies and procedures while performing the various tasks of a Delivery Crew Member
• Report to work on all days that you are scheduled for, on time and ready to work
• Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude and energetic work ethic 
• Attend all meetings as requested by management
• Assist in loading and unloading company and customer vehicles
• Communicate with Delivery Leaders & Managers and aid by safely guiding them during vehicle operations t
• Clean up job sites, vehicles and the delivery areas 
• Learn and execute material handling best practices and installation/removal procedures for the various pieces of equipment that are on the orders you deliver
• Learn and execute safe installation/removal procedures for all tents in our inventory
  
• Understand and retain knowledge of Special Occasions' rental equipment, systems and processes
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned that contribute to the success of the team and the company

Working Conditions:

• Most work will be off site of our warehouse and require you to take breaks in the field
• Working outside a large portion of the time in all weather conditions
• Riding in box trucks, pickup trucks and other company vehicles
• Some work will be performed loading and unloading our trucks at our warehouse and yard

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Other languages are a plus
  
• Willingness to learn and work in a labor intensive environment
  
• Must be able to learn, follow and retain instructions
