Project Manager (Senior)

Personnel Qualifications

  • At least seven (7) years of experience as a program manager or program consultant.
  • PMI Certification and/or Agile program management certification preferred.

Capabilities

  • Serve as a project consultant for TS technologies and implementing other information systems in the role of project manager, project management advisor, implementation specialist, database specialist, data warehouse specialist, or other system specialist roles as requested by TS management.
  • Partner with internal business owners, technical team members, and senior management throughout the project/program life cycle to assist and support the design, development, and implementation of effective systems and enhancements.
  • Act as the intermediary to facilitate a clear understanding among all parties about business assumptions and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the TS staff to establish, revise, and maintain standards and procedures while implementing system projects.
  • Work with clients to foster best business practices, the appropriate use of automation to provide efficient, cost-effective administrative systems and a continual process improvement approach to the Board’s automated administrative systems.
  • Assist where necessary with business process redesign to take advantage of the efficiencies offered by automation.
  • Assist in researching, selecting, and implementing software packages needed to meet FISMA standards.
  • Research, recommend and write processes, procedures, and policies to meet FISMA standards and ITIL best practices.
  • Articulates the program’s strategy and objectives and assesses how it will impact an organization.
  • Defines and oversees a list of dependent projects needed to reach the program’s overall goals.
  • Manages multiple program teams (and sometimes project managers).
  • Delivers successful program outcomes.
