Job Description
Provide, maintain and monitor the development of a culturally appropriate preschool curriculum which will meet the School Readiness goals of the Warm Springs Head Start/Early Head Start programs in preparing children for kindergarten. Develop and implement an education and disabilities work plan which addresses the following: Assist teachers/home visitors with data entry and education necessary to utilize the Teaching Strategies gold online system. Ensure timely screening of all children utilizing designated screening tools for suspected special needs to appropriate program/services. Complete class reviews at least tri-annually for each classroom/home visitor.


Requirements
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Social Services, Human Services or other related field. Three years teaching experience. Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, Oregon State Childcare Division Certification Rules. Pass Oregon Background Registry and Tribal Criminal History Check. Possess a valid Oregon Driver's License, proof of Insurance, First Aid CPR certified and valid Food Handler's Card.
