Our client looking for a highly skilled Systems engineer with Virtualization experience to add to their team. In this role the engineer will be the spearhead infrastructure, support,upgrades, expansion, and help set the direction of our technology practice.Experience supporting multiple data center infrastructures, troubleshooting, and keeping the environment fully documented will be extremely important. This position requires a wide array of skills and a solid understanding of how different technology components work together to from a supportable architecture.

Job Description:

⿢ Manage the Virtual systems and infrastructure for development, test/QA, and production environments to meet service level agreements and maintain operational efficiency.

• Manage datacenter facilities and server infrastructures (Required: Windows 2008-2016, VMWare, HPe Synergy, HPe 3PAR SAN).

⿢ Incorporate the strategic vision and goals of the company, business units, and IT into new projects Design reference materials and conduct training to assist end users with system use

⿢ HPE 3Par Storage administration

⿢ Maintain on-going job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications,maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

• Stay abreast of technological advances and market trends in order to make recommendations to management regarding opportunities for improvement and/or cost reduction opportunities
• Interact closely with Departments to understand projects and daily operational requirements
• Present complex ideas or situations clear, simple, and an easily understandable format
• Participate in system or application triage with support teams and / or vendors as necessary
• Establish best practices to maintain, operate and monitor systems in real-time
• Evaluate and refine protocols for handling alerts and outages, incorporate appropriate tools, monitoring and site metrics
• Ensure appropriate compliance standards and security are implemented at all levels
• Help Develop IT financial budget with IT Manager for planned projects and annual budgeting activities

Qualifications:

⿢ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

• Certifications such as MCITP, MCSE, CCNA or Security.
• Certifications desired such as VCA or VCP

⿢ Troubleshoot and restore complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networks

• Review security vulnerabilities and determine what modifications are needed to minimize risk to the organization via enhancements to the existing environment

⿢ VMware experience implementing and administering mission critical enterprise class systems in medium to large, highly available enterprise level virtualized environments

⿢ Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of information

• Networking experience with Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, routing, switching, etc

⿢ Proven ability to Mentor a team with a positive approach

⿢ Veeam Backup & Replication

⿢ Experience with telephony systems, specifically SIP, Interactive Intelligence (phone and contact center) are preferred

⿢ Highly organized, accurate and precise in work functions

⿢ Strong time management skills; exemplary record of attendance and punctuality

⿢ Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation

Position requires being able to adapt and apply varying techniques to ensure sufficient information is accurately exchanged in these training scenarios.

• Perform system maintenance and patching using SCCM.

⿢ Possess internal drive needed to see projects through to completion, seek out innovative solutions as new requests or problems arise, and to identify and suggest methods for enhancing the organization through the use of IT systems
