Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking a Sr. Manager for a 1st shift Monday – Friday opening in our Sparks, NV warehouse.

The continued growth of Tellworks has created the need for a seasoned, warehouse and operations leader, ready to hit the ground running. This position is responsible for developing and leading a team that will manage the employee performance, inventory, and transportation needs along with the quality, accuracy, and timely deliveries of shipped orders. Additionally, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for creating and driving a culture predicated on safety, respectful and equitable team development, creative problem solving, and an adherence to strict housekeeping policies.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and managing a comprehensive strategy for the facility by shaping requirements, assessing deliverables, and utilizing resources to help eliminate process problems
  • Analyze processes and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Drives continuous improvements to safety, quality, cost, and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the warehouse
  • Review and prepare any action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
  • Responsible for the production and sequencing operations of the entire plant/shift
  • Must be an on-the-production floor leader, observing, analyzing, questioning, discussing, teaching, learning and leading others to continually improve operational performance.
  • Ensures all new employees are properly on-boarded, completing required paperwork and following a structured training schedule.
  • Acts as a role model for the department in support of corporate mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10 years leadership experience in a managing a high daily volume facility
  • 10 years’ progressive experience and demonstrated success as a supervisor/shift manager/operations manager
  • 5 years of project management
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience preferred
