Accounting Manager – You Will:

• You will support and oversee the Company's accounting operations.
• Oversee the accounting functions and any accounting team members, including participating in the hiring process to expand the team
• Accounts Receivables (A/R) - Review and oversee client invoicing, cash receipts, payment applications, and follow-ups on outstanding receivables, cash collections
• Accounts Payables (A/P) - Oversee the receipt, review, and processing invoices for payment
• Payroll Processing – Prepare payroll through ADP (twice monthly)
• Month End Close procedures including performing all balance sheet account reconciliations and credit card statements, vendor accounts and client accounts and preparing a balance sheet and income statement package
• Track project costs, job profitability, expense and cost application – charge and apply expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
• Perform analysis on monthly budget-to-actuals, identifying areas to improve profitability

Accounting Manager – You Have (Required):

• Prior experience in performing full-cycle accounting duties
• Very strong MS Excel skills - pivot tables, large multi-tab spreadsheets and complex Excel formulas
• Ability to work in office in Sacramento daily (flexible on start and stop time)

Accounting Manager – You Might Have (Desired, Not Required):

• Experience with Deltek Ajera ERP accounting platform
• Prior experience working in the A&E industry (ie: environmental consulting, engineering, architecture or related)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

This role is based in Sacramento and is an in-office role.

Compensation $90,000 annual salary, including annual incentive bonus potential. You will be provided with company-sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, and paid time off.
