Position Purpose

Responsible for greeting guests and processing payment for meal

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Front of the House Attendant greets guests with a smile and positive attitude. Escorts them to their tables when required.
  • Front of the House Attendant is in charge of the cash register sales, to include processing cash and credit card transactions, tipping out wait staff, and balancing the register at the end of the shift.
  • Front of house attendant may assist wait staff with various tasks when needed, i.e. bussing and setting up tables, serving non-alcoholic beverages, etc.
  • Front of the House Attendant inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations as needed.
  • Must be polite, reliable, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.
  • Deliver stellar customer service at all times.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience   

Education Level – High School Diploma preferred.

Experience – 1 year experience in related field preferred. 

Special Skills/Certification

  • Proven ability to work with numbers and cash accurately. 
  • Must be competent with computerized register system
  • Must maintain excellent customer service skills.
Language Skills           

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating/procedure manuals.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees. 

Mathematical Skills                      

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Class B Gaming License (As provided with a clean background check)
