Hotel Laundry Attendant

Come join the team at the Quality Inn hotel. We are looking for an energetic, motivated person to become our newest room/laundry attendant. Job duties include but are not limited to: making beds, dusting, and vacuuming guest rooms plus complete cleaning and sanitation of the guest bathrooms. Follow Company and Choice Hotels cleaning and disinfecting standards. Laundry begins 30 minutes after housekeeping and is responsible for sorting, washing, drying and folding the hotel linen. Prior HOTEL EXPERIENCE is PREFERRED but not necessary. Room attendants begin work at 8 AM everyday Must be able to work weekends and holidays . Cross training to work breakfast.

Skills and requirements:

• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time, lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
• Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
• Strong ability to follow verbal instructions
• Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Possess high school diploma or its equivalent educational level
• Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage sometimes, but not generally required
• Must be dependable, accountable, detail oriented
• To be hired for this job may require you take and pass certain assessment tests.
