CTR Group is seeking Shop Helpers – Composite Tech Trainees for an Aerospace Company in Newport News, VA.

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour, and higher for skilled Composite Techs

Position can be remote or onsite

SUMMARY:

Under direct guidance of higher level employees to perform duties involving construction and installation of model parts. Great opportunity to learn a new skill!

• Assist in set ups and layups
• Assist in laminating and trimming operations.
• Prepare materials for construction.
• Related duties as assigned.
• Use all hand tools.
• Painting and decaling per instructions.
• Daily/special housekeeping duties.
• Implement all safety policy and hazardous waste communications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good hand skills
• Carpenter Helpers, Auto Mechanic Helpers, or former military or reservists with hands-on experience would be ideal..
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Must be US citizen
