OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBLITIES

The Finance and Program Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and assisting the current and long-range fundraising efforts of the company. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this individual will tailor and execute the initiatives necessary to achieve assigned campaign growth, retention, participation, and revenue targets. The Finance and Program Director will assist in the execution of all annual campaign events, employee campaigns, and ensure donors and sponsors are engaged and appropriately recognized. The Finance and Program Director primary responsibilities include managing all company in house programs, agency relations and financial duties as it relates to bookkeeping and campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages financial activities of all programs, grants and contracts.
  • Manages and actively participates in month-end close cycle including accounts receivable, accounts payable, grants receivable, revenue/expenses, bank reconciliations, cash flow projections, etc.
  • Maintains relationship with financial institutions, makes deposits, audits and reconcile accounts and processes, etc.
  • Reviews, reconciles, prepares, and submits accurate information for Financial Audit and Form 990. Works with auditors for timely compliance with requests and achieves a clean audit opinion.
  • Prepares monthly and annual financial reports and provides necessary reports to Executive Director and Board of Directors for review.
  • Establishes, maintains, and revises record-keeping, archiving and filing systems.
  • Assist in campaign presentations and events as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate Degree or higher desired
  • 2-years + of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Application
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Sage Accounting
