Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Senior Accountant/Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of our organization. This is a key role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. As office manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient office workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, budgeting and office management.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and supporting schedules
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Assist with weekly accounts payable check run.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
- Assist with food audit procedures as needed.
- Provide guidance and support accounts payable / accounts receivable

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, or QuickBooks
- Experience with financial concepts including debits, credits, and account reconciliations
- Previous experience in public accounting is highly desirable
