LOCATION: Fully onsite at Lexington, MA, 40 hrs, 5 days a week
Covering parental leave and increase in workload.
MUST HAVES:

PURPOSE
The project manager will implement IT projects within business applications and IT infrastructure to support the business in the CLIENT site in Lexington, Massachusetts in close collaboration with global partners, business partners and IT.
The engagement will focus on the implementation of an Asset Management platform as well as providing coordination of an Internal Compliance Review. Other tasks and initiatives may also be required.
• Asset Management: This PM role will drive a project to centralize all lab, non-lab, manufacturing facility equipment/assets to maximize asset utilization, simplify maintenance/work order scheduling and documentation. This new platform will also enable the teams to be consistent across the various Research and Development sites for asset management and maintenance/calibration processes and also help account for backup resourcing. The tool will streamline our facilities’ operations with an easy-to-use solution that provides centralization of master data, automation, and flexibility to handle some location-specific facilities management needs such as service request management, preventative and corrective maintenance, spare-part inventory, and inspections.
• Compliance review: Working with internal compliance team members, this initiative will include reviewing legacy SOP’s, configuration documentation, change controls and other artifacts and revising them to meet newer global standards. Additionally, participating in the authoring of overarching IT SOP’s will be required, as will identifying and prioritizing findings.
This position will be responsible for implementing IT standards, IT strategy and roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders at the Lexington site and the global organization.
RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Head of IT in Boston at in Boston Campus.
Internal relationships include CLIENT R&D sites in the North American region (Including Boston area sites, Seattle, Fremont, and Boulder.) employees, lab and scientific research groups, facilities, DDIT RED and broader DDIT organization.
External service providers include among others, service providers for scientific, process & manufacturing applications; Legal, audit and compliance representatives from CLIENT; CLIENT IT group (GITO, GITO-PI) for infrastructure, network, security, application, and user related activities. CLIENT IT for coordination on the corporate platforms rolled-out at Research Centers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Project management
o Initiate new business critical IT projects
o Planning and coordination of the project deliverables and project team on a day-to-day basis, and act as the central resource for team communication
o Lead project scope and deliverables definition in concert with project champion and key stakeholders
o Accountable for the documentation, communication, and mitigation strategy development for risks to schedule, scope, resources, budget, and quality. In coordination with project champion, conducts start-up meeting with project team to identify roles and responsibilities.
o Manage projects – experience and ability to use both waterfall and SAFE agile methodologies:
From Idea phase to Realize phase according to ITPMM (waterfall)
According to the scale agile framework (SAFE) to provide fast value for the business
o Ensure the projects are aligned with relevant IT Security requirements, as well as business requirements
o Ensure projects progress according to project schedule, scope and budget
o Mitigate or minimize business and system risk
o Manage interdependencies between the project and other initiatives
o Project resource planning, including participation in recruitment of internal and external participants for projects in program
o Responsible for direction setting in project and securing productive working climate in the project
o Design and execute efficient change management
• Business transformation
o Ensure business case realization with global business impact and support for innovative initiatives with profound business ramifications
• Project governance and steering
o Prepare and present project status for various committees incl. Steering Committee
o Timely escalation of issues to stakeholders and Steering Committee for resolution
o Adherence to CLIENT quality management system
o Preparation of project documentation according to standards and guidelines
• People management (project teams)
o Provide input to target setting and continuously feedback to project members
o Act as CLIENT Way role model
o Delegate roles and responsibilities within the project teams
o Resolve project team conflicts, resource needs and requests:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The Job is based in Lexington, Massachusetts and requires full time, onsite presence.
Up to 5-10% overnight travel should be expected. Primarily in relation to coordination with IT team in Boulder, but also international to partners in DK/EU, or other locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• B.S. & Project Management Courses or documented PM track record
• 6+ years’ relevant experience
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to solve complex tasks
• Ability to establish cross organizational collaboration
• Demonstrate proactive stakeholder management at all levels
• SAFe agile educated and experience from undertaking one or several agile roles is preferred
• Technical, Practical and/or management experience with systems under GxP regulation is a plus
