Medical Assistant needed in Lake County, IL!

Express Healthcare Staffing is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join a local family owned practice in the Lake County Area!

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience required
• Bilingual - Spanish required
• Experience drawing blood required
• Experience administering immunizations preferred
• Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred but not required
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have flexibility to float between 8 locations in Lake County & McHenry area
• In person CPR/BLS certification required
• Tb test (within the last 12 months) required

Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors or nurses with patient exams
• Draw blood and prepare lab tests
• Sterilize instruments and patient rooms
• Prepare and administer patient medication
• Administrative tasks – manage medical records, patient scheduling, billing, insurance
• Record accurate patient history, vital signs, and current medical status

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
