Physical Therapist Assistant Hours

· Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

· Service area- Leon County/Gadsden County

Physical Therapist Assistant Compensation

• The pay for this position is between $32.00-$37.00 an hour depending on experience
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

· Administers the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist

· Administers non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises therapeutic massage traction heat light cold water and electrical modalities to patients

· Accurately documents daily weekly or monthly records of clients' status. Submits clinical paperwork to the office on time each week

· Attends educational meetings and coordinates and contributes to department in-services

· Notifies physical therapist Clinical Manager or Branch/Clinical Director of any equipment failures lack of supplies staff or client changes and any other departmental changes. 6. Schedules clients and performs varied office tasks

· Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities

· Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients

· Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediaries and/or other third-party payors through education coaching and other assistance as necessary

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements

· Home Health Experience

· Current state license to practice Physical Therapy

· 2 years’ experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant

· Education Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy

· Proof of current CPR certification

· Current driver's license

· Must have reliable transportation and insurance

· Ability to do heavy lifting bending pulling pushing and standing
