CNC Lathe Machinist

Texas MCI is a precision aerospace CNC machine shop. We are AS9100 D, ISO 9001:2015 certified and ITAR registered. We are located just west of Waxahachie, just off the 35 freeway's Mayfield exit near the 287 freeway. We manufacture machined components for use in aerospace, space, defense, and medical applications. We operate one 40 hour shift a week. Day shift is 7:00 am to 4:15 pm M-Thurs and 7:00am to 12:00am on Fridays. During the summer months hours are moved forward 1 hour. Overtime on Fridays and Saturdays may be available depending on department workload.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for CNC Machinist capable of setting up and running production on our Doosan Fanuc controlled CNC turning centers (lathes).

REQUIREMENTS:

· Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience setting up CNC Turning centers.

· Must have experience and be capable of efficiently selecting and installing tooling and setting up machinery in required setup and run times.

· Must be able to fulently read blueprints and use common shop measuring equipment.

· Be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work.

· Must be a team player.

· A sense of humor is appreciated.
