Groundskeeper FT Seasonal

The Town of Canaan has an opening for a Full Time Seasonal Groundskeeper with the Buildings and Grounds Department.  Duties include groundskeeping maintenance of all town parks, recreation areas and cemeteries.  This position is responsible for mowing, trimming weeds, raking leaves, mulching, pruning, rubbish removal and sidewalk cleaning. 

Candidates must be able to operate all equipment needed to perform upkeep of town grounds.

Compensation starting at $18.00/hour and this position is 30-40 hours a week, May through October.
