Job Summary and Qualifications As a Special Procedure Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for performing assessments, developing a plan of care, implementing and evaluating the care in a right heart catheterization setting. You will administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with the current clinical nursing practice.

You will perform patient assessments pre, peri, and post procedure in a right heart catheterization room You will maintain a safe, aseptic environment You will administer medications as ordered by the physician You will assist all personnel, patients, and physicians as needed

Job Requirements

Experience

1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) 1 year of Special Procedure experience in a cardiovascular setting - preferred Cath Lab experience preferred

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN)

Licenses and Certifications

Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required
