About the Role:

The Robotics Club Leader at Park Maitland will head our dynamic Robotics Club, an exciting role perfect for someone passionate about robotics and education. This position involves planning and implementing club activities that prepare students for robotics missions, teaching the fundamentals of robotics, coding, and engineering in an engaging way, and fostering critical skills like creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute robotics club sessions and projects aimed at preparing for various robotics challenges and missions.
• Teach and simplify the principles of robotics, coding, and engineering in an enjoyable and accessible manner.
• Mentor and support students in designing, building, and programming robots.
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork within the club.
• Collaborate with other school staff and parents to enhance the visibility of the robotics club and celebrate the achievements of its members.

What We Are Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching robotics, coding, or a closely related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A proven ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
