Looking for a new team member to join our growing team! This position will involve connecting with members and providers in a healthcare office setting.

Description:

  • Answer calls from providers and assist with claim status and updates
  • Investigate claim status through online systems
  • Provide excellent customer service to all Medicare Advantage members.
  • Assist with coverage and claims related questions.
  • Accurately interpret benefits and policy provisions for all products.
  • Conduct research and follow-up for prompt resolution.
  • Work efficiently in a high volume call center while maintaining a professional, polite manner
  • Research, investigate and triage customer issues of concern and dissatisfaction as assigned
  • Advocate for the customer: explain benefits in a detailed and courteous manner so they are understood

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Call center experience and understanding metrics/expectations
  • Ability to do research and light analysis - why was the claim denied or only partially paid?
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor
  • Understand how to resolve customer service issues effectively and efficiently
  • Empathy is crucial for success in this role
