About this job
Local Hospital in Apple Valley is looking to add entry level individual to thier patient accesss team. If you have customer service experience and would liek to work in healthcare this is the perfect opportunity to gain experience!
Description:
The patient access rep will come in and track patients. Find location and get forms and collect patients demographics. They will bring that information to patient registars for entry of the data.
Collect all required information and take payments if necessary. Obtain documents including drivers license and insurance cards.
Collect signatures and information for around 40-50 patients a day. Industry standard is around 4 patients per hour for patient registrars

Preferable customer service experience. Must be open to working any day of the week. They will get days off and can be called in for OT if they want. Will have set schedule once they start.
Schedule will be 24/7 availability with weekends required. Will be mid day or night shift but will de dependent upon need
6 week schedule ahead of time but subject to 72 hour notice if changes arise.
