What You'll Do :
As an Engineer I, you will be responsible for applying technical knowledge to ensure availability of Edward Jones' Systems. Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of :

• Build basic business, technical and/or appropriate product knowledge
• Provide quality solutions for business and enterprise software needs
• Perform basic programming assignments
• Provide support including on-call responsibility
• Assist in developing program level requirements and designs
• Develop, test, document and implement quality programs from specifications within
targeted due dates.
• Assist with program / task estimates
• Develop and execute simple complexity test plans to ensure quality
• May involve periodic review of general support documentation

What Experience You'll Need :

• Bachelor's degree and/or related work experience
• A working knowledge of at least one or more of the following technologies:
  • J2EE, Mainframe COBOL, Java, and Structured Query Language

****Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday****
