What You Will Do:

This position supports a fast-paced, evolving IT portfolio as an IT project manager for at least one of the client’s electronic discovery systems, and as lead for the IT project management office (PMO). Additionally, they will support the program management operations for the client’s IT Support Unit, including organization of routine meetings, consolidation, and preparation of reports for management review, coordination of meetings with internal and external stakeholders to organize and/or monitor key initiatives for the primary client group. This position supports special projects such as the review and analysis of next generation software via market research and associated requirement gathering initiatives to help shape the future IT portfolio for the client. They will assist with tracking and supporting key management initiatives and developing and tracking goals, objectives, risks, and accomplishments for the client’s IT Support Unit.


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Document and manage new and existing business processes to facilitate training, analysis, and redesign.

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of existing and new business processes and identify opportunities for improving workforce efficiency.

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of operational business requirements and conduct a gap analysis for any required modification to an existing business process.

  • Create and maintain a requirements database that documents how each existing or new business requirement is being supported by FBI or Quoter resources.

  • Validate that any proposed solution to an existing requirement satisfactorily meets the underlying need.

  • Collect marketing materials from industry solution providers that claim to satisfy the identified business requirements.

  • Perform other business analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.

  • Document and manage new and existing functional capabilities provided by existing and proposed IT solutions.

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of existing capabilities against documented business requirements to determine where gaps in technology are preventing the efficient execution of business processes.

  • Compare marketing materials from industry solution providers that claim to satisfy the identified business requirements and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives that can be used by the Program Management Office (PMO) to identify and prioritize new projects.

  • Validate that any proposed solution successfully delivers a new functional business capability that addresses one or more existing requirements.

  • Build and execute thorough test scripts that allow them to ascertain the breadth and depth of a capability on a consistent basis so that they may fairly evaluate multiple products to provide recommendations for purchase.

  • Review all solution configuration changes to ensure that the Discovery Program maintains an accurate picture of its business capabilities.

  • Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance and ability to obtain SCI.

  • Undergraduate degree or 4 additional years of general IT experience in areas such as business analysis, systems analysis, software development, quality assurance, and/or project management. 

  • 5 years of general IT experience in areas such as business analysis, systems analysis, software development, quality assurance, and/or project management. 


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • IT project management experience

  • Bachelors degree

  • PMP

  • Strong knowledge of business analysis best practices.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders from a variety of professional disciplines, including IT engineers, IT project managers, legal experts, etc.
