Twin Cities Community Hospital, a 122-bed acute care hospital, has been caring for the communities of Northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. With a medical staff of more than 200 physicians and 400 caregivers and support staff, the hospital specializes in emergency care, obstetrics, orthopedics, digestive disorders, wound care and a broad array of medical, surgical and outpatient services. POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the health care team. In addition, the Registered Nurse shall meet personal accountabilities as defined in the Tenet Target 100 standards of Service, People, Quality, Growth and Cost.

Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

  • One year minimum acute care experience.
  • Ability to assess and anticipate the needs of the Emergency department patient newborns to geriatrics.
  • Graduate of a nursing school
  • RN CA license
  • Ability to learn and use emergency equipment.
  • Must complete TNCC Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into position

Pay Range: $44.09 - $72.96

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
